On May 15th, 2010 Mary Thompson and Renata Roxbury will depart on an epic adventure across America on a tandem bicycle. The former Junior Olympic gymnasts, college graduates, and best friends have named this two month, 4,262 mile, 10 state endeavor "Tandem Energy." They chose "Tandem Energy" as the theme for this trip because not only are they riding a tandem bicycle but they are also riding with a tandem purpose. This journey will be an opportunity for self- exploration as well as a chance to raise funds for two charities very dear to them. |
